Our oak bouls swan is sustainable with FSC®
Oak is sustainable – we get our oak from sustainable and well-managed forests in Europe, as we are certified according to the strict rules of FSC and PEFC. Oak has a perfect energetic balance, since we air-dry our oak for many years. So very little external energy is used.

WHAT IS PRIME QUALITY OAK BOULS?
OAK bouls sawn through and through each log. You get the crown cut boards on the first cuts – the side boards – towards the center of the log you get the rift cut and the center board in the middle. Colour and structure throug the full log are very similar. Perfect to create a unique furniture from one log with all its characteristics and history.

OAK BOULS – DRYING OF OAK BOULS
Selected to length, double end trimmed, that´s how we pack our OAK bouls log by log. Under roof we gently air dry in perfect climat down to 28 – 30 % moisture content before we vacuum kiln dry in our modern vacuum system down to 8 – 10 % moisture content. With long term experience we generate maximum kiln drying quality. Best color and no cracks.
On the Circular saw we randomly check the inerior quality and color of the kiln dried OAK.
